This Privacy Policy describes how MarketScale (“MarketScale,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit or interact with our websites, including marketscale.com, company.marketscale.com, shop.marketscale.com, and microsites, landing pages, and other MarketScale properties that link to this Privacy Policy.
We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of our websites, and from third parties who support our operations.
Contact & Lead Data: Name, email address, phone number, role and company, any message or request you submit, and newsletter or resource subscriptions.
Commerce & Account Information (shop.marketscale.com): Billing and shipping details, order and transaction history, and payment details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full payment numbers).
Communications: Emails, support inquiries, and responses to surveys or feedback forms.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, language and region settings, and general location (derived from IP).
Usage & Interaction Data: Pages viewed and time spent, scroll depth and click behavior, navigation paths and referring links, interaction with embedded media, and form click and conversion events.
Search Data: Search terms you enter, time and context of search, and interaction with resulting content. We treat search queries as behavioral data.
Cookies, Tags & Pixels: Necessary cookies (site functionality, fraud prevention, security), analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar), marketing and advertising pixels (e.g., LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta pixels), and measurement and conversion tags. Where required by law, we request consent before using non-essential cookies.
Real-Time Search Query Transmission: When you use our search functionality, your search terms are transmitted to our servers and simultaneously to analytics and advertising partners including Google Analytics and Leadforensics. This transmission occurs in real-time as part of the search process.
We may receive information from analytics and measurement partners, advertising platforms, CRM and marketing automation systems, e-commerce payment providers, and event or content partners you interact with.

2.6 SMS Communications: If you opt in to SMS, we may send text messages related to your account or promotional updates. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Mobile opt-in information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

5.5 California Wiretapping Law: For California residents, we obtain express consent before any real-time transmission of search queries to third parties. You may withdraw consent by contacting privacy@marketscale.com.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide services, meet operational and analytical needs, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records. Account and transaction data is retained for the duration of the business relationship plus applicable legal periods. Marketing data is retained until you opt out. Analytics data is aggregated for statistical purposes; individual data is deleted after a reasonable operational period.
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encrypted transmissions, access controls and authentication, and monitoring and threat detection. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect information to the best of our ability.
Our websites are intended for professional and business audiences. They are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect children's data. If such data is identified, we will delete it.
9.1 AI/ML Data Use: We may use personal information to develop, support, and improve AI features and functionality within our services, including using your data to train machine learning models.
9.2 AI Training Opt-Out: You may opt out of having your personal information used to train our AI models by contacting privacy@marketscale.com. This will not affect AI features that process your data in real-time to provide services.
Our websites may offer publicly accessible features such as comment sections or forums. Information you disclose there may be read, collected, and used by the public. Your posts may remain publicly accessible even after account termination. We will make reasonable efforts to remove public posts upon request.
We may process information in countries other than the one in which you reside. When required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, and Data Privacy Framework certification for transfers from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland to the United States.
